Who are we?

My name is Ryan Yowell, and I started Unshaken Detail here on Oʻahu with my ʻohana always in mind. I’m originally from the mainland and part of a military family, and moving here gave me a real appreciation for the aloha spirit and the way people take care of each other in Hawaiʻi. I wanted to build something of my own that I could put real work into every day and actually see the results of that effort. There’s something rewarding about bringing a vehicle back to life and seeing a client genuinely excited about the transformation.

My family is a big part of why I do what I do. They’re my motivation to build something steady, honest, and worth being proud of.

Faith also plays a quiet but important role in how I approach this business. I believe in doing things the right way, even when no one is watching, and treating people with respect and fairness in every interaction.

When customers come to me, I want them to feel welcomed—not just as clients, but like family. That mindset shapes how I communicate, how I work, and the level of care I put into every vehicle.

At the end of the day, this isn’t just about detailing cars—it’s about taking care of something that matters to someone. Every vehicle represents hard work, responsibility, and daily life, and I don’t take that lightly.

My goal is simple: deliver honest work, pay attention to the details, and treat every customer and every vehicle with the kind of care I’d expect for my own family.
